South Fullerton Plumbing works on five service lines for houses, rental units and small commercial buildings in Fullerton, Placentia, Brea and La Habra. Each one covers the diagnosis, the repair and, where it is the better course, the replacement. Fixture work, toilet repair, faucet replacement and garbage disposal installation are part of the daily work across all of them.

Which Service Do I Need?

Most problems announce themselves in one of a few ways. The table matches what is noticed at home to the service that usually resolves it.

For a symptom that does not fit the table, the Troubleshooting Guide walks through no hot water, low pressure, slow drains, running toilets, dripping faucets and water stains, with the checks that are safe to make before calling.

Repair or Replace

Most plumbing problems are repairs: a worn cartridge, a failed fill valve, a loose trap, a corroded fitting. A replacement becomes the better answer when the part that failed is the body of the fixture or the pipe itself, when the same failure keeps returning, or when the equipment is near the end of its normal life. A water heater tank that leaks, galvanized piping that has rusted through and a collapsed section of sewer line cannot be repaired in a lasting way.

The cause is traced with a sewer camera or a pressure gauge before a repair is recommended, and the reasoning is explained before any pipe is cut. Where both a repair and a replacement are reasonable, the trade-offs are set out so that the owner decides.

Residential and Commercial Work

Houses, condos, duplexes and rental units make up most of the work. For restaurants, shops and offices, where one broken pipe can stop the day, the work leans toward hydro jetting, main line clearing, restroom fixture repair and shutoff valve and pressure regulator replacement. The Commercial page covers that work in more detail.
